Let’s build a Town for our Solo Roll Adventures – Using Mythics – Adventure Crafter – Part 2

This is Part 2 of the Series for creating the Small Town of Silver Gardens for my Solo Adventure Roleplay.

You can read the First Part here where I go over the Generating Parts for this Adventure and where we Rolled up 2 Characters for my Town. Ada the Librarian and Dogmora the Inn Keeper.

First, Let’s roll 3 d100 for Place, Character, and Plot Point

68 – We are still in the Silver Treasure Inn

50 – Logical Plot Point – Ada helps Dogmora with a Spell.

An old Deal – This TP involves an agreement made long ago, probably even before this Adventure began.

Servant – This TP involves a servant or proxy of another Cha. Invoke a Cha for the servant to represent. Cha – 92 – logical. Ada
Conclusion – If this TP is currently a Plotline Develop, then it becomes a Plotline Conclusion.
Sold – This TP involves a sale of some kind.

Dogmora, still angry about the Mr. Winterborn incident sitting behind her Desk. A guest of the Inn is coming to her. After asking how she feels after that big Thing that happened, she tells him, that she is still angry. The Guest tells her, that he has a little something for her. A Magical Scroll and that it would give him a little Curse. For 1 Gold, this Curse would be hers. First, Dogmora says no, but after a moment she decides to buy the Scroll. She would just need someone who needs to help her.

Taking the Scroll she goes back to the Library to see if Ada is still interested in this Plan. It was different now, that it would come from her, and not put Ada in danger. They look at the Scroll…

Table Fables – I call upon the magic of old – Smoke emerges and out of the Smoke a creature forms. The Creature tells them that they will get his Magic for 1 time use and in return they have to make a Deal with him. Ada volunteers. Knowing quite well, that this is the Second Deal she made with a Creature. Hoping, that this would not come around to bite her. The Creature waves his Hand and the Deal is done. The Curse is now on the Person.

Let’s Roll a Random Curse for Henry Winterborn. 36 – The Target experiences debilitating pain if they enter a building uninvited.

Ada and Dogmora stay in the Library that night and celebrate this Curse.

The only thing I changed on the List is the Objects.

Scene 4

Let’s roll 3 d100 to see our Location, Character, and Plot Point. I might Change the Numbers, if I hit the Inn or the Book Shop again because I would like to get to meet some more People in my Town.

Josephine’s Parents built this town before they died. Leaving Josephine with a fortune. Josephine was married the minute she turned 18. But, her husband died a few months later. Josephine stays mostly inside her House on the outskirts of Silver Gardens. Her only contacts outside the House are the Towns Mayor and her Servant and Right Hand. Quim Gauche, Ada’s Brother.

Mayor Rhye Den left Josephines House moments ago. She was told, that Rhye is the new Mayor in Town, voted by the citizens. When asked, why the old Mayor stepped down, Rhye told her, that Kian quit, because of his age and the robberies that were going on in town. Chief Able is on the Case but had no luck.

A few days later, Quim, Josephine’s right Hand arrived with a Telegram. A neighboring Town of Elmarina, a small town just on the Coast, is sending a Group of Adventurers our way to help us with the Break-Ins. Josephine asks Quim to arrange some sleeping quarters at the Inn. Josephine is angry about the Telegram, that this got out so quickly, and that she can’t handle her own Town. What a Humiliation.

If they ever get to find out who this Gangster is, that is breaking in, she will definitely handle that person herself. She asks Quim to go and get his Sister. She was smart and might know a Way.

After arriving at the Manor Ada gets asked to help the town with the Break-ins whatever it takes. The Adventure Group will not be the ones handling her own business.

Scene 5

Let’s roll for a Location we did not have already.

02 – Mayor (Rhye Den) Ok. let’s find out a bit more about our new Mayor in Town.

Kian Marr gave Rhye the Keys to the Office and the Vault behind the Bookshelf. Rhye takes it and tells him, she heard that he was going away for a while? Kian tells her, that he is going to Elmarina and looks if he could manage to get on a ship. Kian mentions, that Rhye is looking pale and that she should get a good nights rest. The Problem with the Break-ins is to big to just go to sleep, but she is sure, that she will feel better tomorrow.

The next day, her Assisstant is comming in and bring her 2 Letters that arrived by Passage. Kaila, her Assisstant gives her the latest News from Town. Tells her about the Fight in the Silver Treasure Inn (Was there another Break-in? 50/50 Chance – 5 – Yes in 68 Inn) and that Dogmora filed a Report that someone Broke-in all the Rooms in the Inn. And that the Town looks for Kian, that has not seen since yesterday morning. Rhye tells her, that he was going to a Ship in Elmarina and was late to make it.

Kaila asks her if she still goes to the Mayor Session over in Windenbree? Rhye does not know it yet. She needs to look into the Break-ins first. She will go to the Inn and see, if they have more Informations.
