I just got 3 new Books of Random Tables on Amazon.
These 3 Books are amazing if you want to get into Solo roleplaying. Normally I have problem finding Names for my Characters. Not anymore. I can Roll them at any time out of the Books. Matt Davids did an amazing job putting those Random Tabels together and fitting them to the Theme of the Books.

Example of a Solo Roll Adventure using the Tables
Let’s give them a Try and see if we can do a Story that is Set in the 80’s. I am using the Mythic GME and the Random Tables here.
80s Cartoon Adventures – d10 –
5: The party’s arch-nemesis has created an android designed to gain the trust of the party and then betray them to the enemy. Destroy or reprogram the android and thwart the enemy’s wicked scheme.
Cops: d100 – 18 – Joel Winston, prides themselves on their record, Emergency Response Team.
Let’s find him a Team Member: People 1: 04 – Quentin Barr, 70 Years old, US Navy
Arch-Nemesis – Let’s roll on the Fictional Heavy Metal Bands: 63 – Vandal
So, here is the Premise of the Story:
Joel Winston, hard working Cop in the Early 2020 goes to Lunch with his Uncle Quentin. Former US Navy now retired. Then all of a sudden a Breaking Newsflash appears on every Screen around them. Mobile Phones, TVs, Billboards. Everything is showing his Face. Vandal is Back. I was certain we killed him in our last Battle. But there he was talking directly to us. Well, directly to me.
After threatening the whole world he looked straight into the Camera and smiled: “Come and get me, Detective Winston. But first, you have to find out in what Year I am.”
“What are you doing now?”
“I have no clue. Any Ideas.”
“Did you hear the Song, that was playing behind his Video?”
80’s Songs 1: Bad – By Michael Jackson (1987)
“What Song?”
Quentin took out his phone and typed something in. The Video was already linked to every Social Media Platform. “Here, Listen.”
“Is that Michael Jackson?”
“Sure is, Kiddo. Song’s Name is Bad and it was released in 1987. I bet this is where he is.”
“Do you still have your Machine?”
Uncle Quentin took out a Roll of Cash, threw it on the Table and we walked to his Car.
Mythic – Do they arrive at Quentin’s Home, without problems. Chaos Factor 5 at the Moment – Let’s say Likely – 13 – 65 – 94: 13 – Exceptional Yes.
We arrived faster than ever in my uncle’s Garage. Everyone was parked at the Sides of the Road and was watching Reruns of the Video, so no one was driving.
Uncle Quentin was in his former Navy Mindset and started to hook up the Time Machine.
“Ok, 1987, I was already living here. I bring you back to a day, when I was at home, having some Days of. It won’t be that easy. Tell me, the Code is:
Let’s grab a Movie from the 1980s 70 – Bill & Ted
Tell him Bill & Ted said Hello – Maybe he will get it. At least you will not be alone.”
I took the Helmet and ran inside the Machine. A Minute too late, before I realized that my Mobile Phone was still on me. I had to be really careful about that.”
Is Joel landing safely in the 1980’s – Chaos Factor 6. His Uncle knows what he is doing, but still is not the youngest anymore. Let’s say: Likely – 15 – 75 – 96.
17 – Yes. Everything is fine.
Smooth Landing. But, I crashed into a stack of Boxes in the Garage, making an unbelievable Sound. My loud welcome alarmed the Dogs in the Neighborhood. And Seconds later, the Garage Door opened, with a guy standing there with his Baseball Bat. “Who are you and what do you want here. There is nothing to get in here, so go, as long as you still can.”
“Uncle Quentin?”
The Baseball Bat slightly sank. “I am not your Uncle, Kiddo.”
“Yes, you are.”
His Bat was ready to come at me, so I took my Hands up in the Air.
“You have to trust me. Bill & Ted said Hello.” In anticipation of the Bat, I covered my face with my hands, but he lowered it, without hitting me.
“Wait, what?”
“You told me to say that.”
“What?” Now he was confused. Really Confused.
“Sounds stupid, but I am coming from the future. With your Time Machine, which is working quite well, by the way.”
Does Quentin believe a Word Joel says? Let’s give it a 50/50 Chance. Chaos 6: 13 – 65 – 94.
76 – No. He does not trust us.
“Are you drunk? Did 62 – Johnny or 22 – Patrick send you? Idiots! I will tell them what I think of this.”
“Wait, wait, Uncle.”
He looked at me angrily. “Don’t call me Uncle.”
“Sorry, Quentin. Try to trust me. I am from the Future. Your sister’s Name is 12 – Valerie. Your parents are 38 – Andrea and Greg Barr.”
“This is hardly any proof. Anyone could have told you this.”
“Ok, listen. Tell me, what do you want to know to trust me. Because our World is in great danger, I have to save it, and I definitely need your help, and I don’t have the time to stand here and Discuss this with you.”
“Tell you what, Kiddo.” He looked me deep into my eyes. “Tell me your mother’s favorite TV Show.”
“35 – MacGyver.”
“That is actually true.”
Is he believing us now? CF 6 – 50/50 Chance 13. – 63 – 94. If we roll 94 or higher he will not help us. 55.
He will help us, but we trigger a Random Event.
50 – NPC Positive – Meaning Tables Action and Descriptor 84 -Stop and 75 – Offensively

“So can I start calling you Uncle again?”
“Not in your dreams!”
“U, I mean Quentin, is there a Mall near us, or a Shop?
“05 – Pottery Barn is the closest, there is a Mall, but we have to drive for like half an Hour.”
“Knowing Vandal, he would most likely be there.”
“How do you know this guy?” Quentin asked while driving on the Freeway.
“I work for the government as a Police Officer, well, more an Agent.”
“And you put this guy in Jail and now he escaped?”
I feel there is more to it, so CF 5, and I want to say Nearly Impossible. 3 – 15 – 84 – 28 No
“A bit more than Jail. I already killed him once.”
“Ok.” Big Eyes were watching me from the Side. “Then how it comes, he is here then?”
“Good Question. I would like to know this as well, you know.”
A lot of Cars were passing us, as we were leaving the Highway. I felt it was more than should be normal.
Is there something weird going on? CF 5, and I say 50/50 – 10/50/91
We rolled a 3 – so, Exceptional Yes
After the next curve in the Road, we saw why. A giant Robot was shooting on an open field.
Simultaneously: “Shit” was screamed in the car.
Uncle Quentin drove faster. We now saw, what he was shooting at. Vandal was standing in the Field, and shooting back.
“Laser Pistols?”, Quentin looked at me in disbelief.
“Yeah, well, there is a lot you have to learn.” I reached into my pocket and took out my Mobile Phone. It was not the fastest in this Timezone, but, it should work. I had to find a Weapon shop. Or something.
CF 6 – Will the Phone work? Let’s say Unlikely so we could get another 50/50 Chance. 10/50/91

I rolled a 1 – Find Android, reprogram.
“What Device do you have there?” Uncle Quentin asked me.
“Nothing important. A Gadget from Work.” I finally got some kind of Signal and was able to find a website, that showed Stores around this area in the 1980s. Sadly, the closest Weapon store was a bit further away, but it was our only chance to help this Android defeat my arch-enemy.
